Kurtens was born from a simple observation: finding a technical curtain that performed well, looked good and truly fit your windows was an uphill battle. Questionable performance, disappointing quality, and an impossible choice between a standard size that was too rough an approximation or made-to-measure that was out of reach. We decided to solve this problem differently: curtains available in standard sizes or made-to-measure to the exact centimetre. Our 3-in-1 curtain delivers the three benefits below.

The observation: the technical curtain market is broken

Performance claims with no proof. Opaque prices. And an absurd choice between standard sizes that were too imprecise and made-to-measure that was out of reach. We lived the frustration of our future customers and decided to answer it.

The textile development work

The result: an exclusive three-layer fabric combining soundproofing, thermal insulation and total blackout.

Standard sizes carefully chosen to cover most windows, and a made-to-measure option to the centimetre for the rest. No compromise in either case: same fabric, same performance, same standards.
