Legal guarantees
At Kurtens , customer satisfaction is a priority. In accordance with French regulations, all products sold on our site are automatically covered by the legal guarantee of conformity and the legal guarantee against hidden defects .
Here is a detailed explanation of your rights as a consumer.
1. The Legal Guarantee of Conformity
The Seller undertakes to deliver goods that conform to the contract and is liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery.
-
Coverage period: You benefit from a two (2) year warranty from the date of receipt of your product.
-
Presumption of defect: Good news! For any defect appearing within 24 months of delivery, you do not have to prove that it existed at the time of purchase. It is presumed to have existed (unless proven otherwise by the Seller).
When is a product considered "compliant"?
-
It corresponds to the description, quantity and quality specified on our site (features, compatibility, etc.).
-
It is suitable for the use that is normally expected of such a product.
-
It comes with all its accessories, assembly instructions and planned updates.
Your solutions in case of non-compliance:
In case of a problem, you have the choice between repair or replacement of the product, at no cost to you, within a maximum period of 30 days .
(Note: However, we may favor one of the two options if your choice results in a clearly disproportionate cost).
Refund or price reduction: You can request a price reduction or order cancellation (full refund) if:
-
We refuse to comply.
-
The repair/replacement takes more than 30 days or causes you major inconvenience.
-
The defect persists despite our attempt to repair it.
-
The defect is so serious that it warrants an immediate solution.
Good to know: The warranty period is suspended while your product is being repaired or replaced.
2. The Warranty Against Hidden Defects
In addition to the guarantee of conformity, your purchases are protected against defects that were invisible at the time of purchase.
To activate this guarantee, the defect must meet three conditions :
-
It must have existed at the time of purchase.
-
It had to be hidden (not apparent during a normal examination of the product).
-
It is serious enough to render the product unusable or significantly reduce its use.
Your solutions in case of a proven hidden defect:
You have two options:
-
The redhibitory action: You return the product to us and we will refund you in full.
-
The estimated value action: You keep the product and we refund part of the price.
-
Time limit for action: You have two (2) years from the discovery of the defect to report it to us.
3. Return shipping costs: Everything is covered.
If you need to return a product under the legal guarantee of conformity or the guarantee against hidden defects, rest assured: the return shipping costs are entirely covered by [Your Store Name] . You will not have to pay anything.
