Which heading for your rod?
Eyelets, pencil pleat, rod pocket or multifunctional: 4 types that cover 99% of installations.
How to use this guide.
Look at the top of your current curtains (or your rod if you don't have curtains). Compare it with the 4 types below.
Eyelets - 40mm
Metal rings built into the fabric. They slide directly onto a standard round rod (Ø 28 mm). The most common system.
Pencil pleat
Woven tape at the top of the curtain with hooks. It attaches to gliding tracks or hook rods. Elegant, gathered look.
Rod pocket
Fabric loops sewn at the top of the curtain. The rod passes straight through them. Contemporary, understated style, 100% fabric.
Multifunctional
Choose the multifunctional option so you can use your made-to-measure Kurtens curtain in any situation.
| Heading | Suitable if… | Not suitable if… | Max. weight |

Not sure which type you have?
Look at the top of your current curtains. Metal rings = eyelets. Gathered tape = pencil pleat. No curtains yet? Look at your rail: smooth round pole = eyelets, rail with gliders = pencil pleat.
Our recommendation for curtains
Our densest technical curtains, like the 3-in-1 (620 g/m²), are heavier than average. For a dense curtain, we recommend eyelets or pencil pleat for the best long-term hold.
