Grommets
Most commonRound rod (Ø 16-35mm). You want a regular wave-like drape with smooth sliding.
Square rod or ceiling track.

Pencil Pleat
Rod with track or hook rings. You want a regular pleat and a high-end look.
Round rod without rings or hooks.

Rod pocket
Thin round rod. You want a curtain directly threaded onto the rod, with no visible accessories.
You open and close your curtain very often; sliding is less fluid than with grommets.

Multi-function
Most versatileYou don't know which type to choose, or you want to be able to change rods later. Compatible with all installations.
You want a specific visual effect (grommet waves or pleated tape pleats). Multi-function is versatile but neutral.
