How to choose your size
Two measurements are all you need: the width of your rod and the height. Standard sizes or made to measure, to the dimensions you enter.
The width of your rod
Measure your rod from end cap to end cap. Without a rod, allow the window width plus 30 cm (12 in), 15 cm (6 in) on each side. Fit the rod 15 cm (6 in) above the window. Order a total width of 2 to 2.5 times the rod: the full folds trap air and strengthen insulation. For two panels, divide by two. Enter the flat width of each panel: the configurator applies no coefficient.
The height
Measure from the top of the rod down to the floor. The curtains should just brush the floor, or fall 1 to 2 cm (⅜ to ¾ in) onto it for a softer, gentle break. Avoid letting them stop above the floor: the room looks smaller and draughts get through.

How does blackout work?
A single curtain, three technical layers sewn together. Each has a measured role.
- The decorative face. A plain technical linen, with the drape of a heavy curtain. It dresses the window. The technology stays invisible.
- The blackout membrane. It blocks 100% of light and UV rays. You sleep in broad daylight, and your furniture no longer fades in the sun.
- The high-density technical backing. It insulates by up to 7°C: heat stays out in summer, in during winter, and your energy bill drops. It also attenuates outside noise by up to -22 dB: the street goes quiet.
Assembled, these three layers reach 620 g/m². It is this weight that gives the drape and carries all three functions.

How long does delivery take?

How do I wash it?
Machine wash 30°C, delicate cycle. No tumble dryer. Iron on low heat (inside out). Properties retained after washing.
Can I return it?
30-day returns. Returns accepted for manufacturing defects, with free exchange. Made-to-measure cannot be returned for personal preference, which is why the Exact-Fit Guarantee matters.

Is it really 100% blackout?
Yes. The fabric blocks 100% of visible light and UV, in a single 315 g/m² layer. For complete darkness with no light leaking at the sides, made-to-measure covers the whole window.
Is the darkness complete?
Through the fabric, yes: it blocks light across its entire surface. Any remaining daylight comes in around the edges; a curtain made to your dimensions, hung as close to the window as possible, reduces it.
Three layers, 620 g/m²: total darkness, with full thickness.
One layer, 315 g/m²: the same darkness, thinner and more fluid.
No lining, no triple thickness: a single layer that blocks everything. The curtain stays thin, keeps a fluid drape and hangs on a discreet rod.
Which rod for this curtain?
A slim rod is enough: at 315 g/m², the curtain weighs half as much as the 3-in-1 (620 g/m²). Over a large width, a wall-mounted rod remains the safest choice.
Is it also thermal or acoustic?
No. It blocks light, and that's all: no thermal insulation, no noise reduction. For those two performances, see the 3-in-1.
The same heathered weave on both sides: no technical reverse side to hide. From the street, you see the same fabric as from the room, with no white lining.
Can it be hung either way round?
Yes: the front and back are identical, so there is no wrong side to hide.
