Why it works. Each curtain weighs 620 g/m², spread across three dense layers. In acoustics, mass is what stops sound. Made to your exact dimensions, it covers the whole window: sound no longer escapes around the sides or under the bottom. A curtain that is too small lets up to 40 % of the attenuation slip away.

How to choose your size
Two measurements are all you need: the width of the opening and the height. Standard sizes or made to measure, down to the centimetre.
The width of the opening
Measure your window from edge to edge. Fit the rod 15 cm above and extend it 15 to 20 cm on each side: the window looks larger and the light is freed up. Order a curtain width of 2 to 2.5 times the width of the window: the full folds dress the room and trap air, which strengthens both sound and thermal insulation.
The height
Measure from the top of the rod down to the floor. The curtains should just brush the floor, or fall 1 to 2 cm onto it for a softer, gentle break. Avoid letting them stop above the floor: the room looks smaller and draughts get through.

Conforme à ma commande, reçu dans les temps avec un emballage soigné. Le rideau en lui même est très bien on sent qu’il est de qualité. Pour le phonique (ma principale préoccupation) c’est mieux que ce que j’attendais les sons sont vraiment étouffés, idéal pour dormir.

Muy satisfecho con la compra. El color beige es tal cual se ve en la web. Oscurece la habitación al 100%
Vivo en una calle súper transitada de Madrid con muchísimo tráfico. La cortina es de muy buena calidad, aísla maravillosamente el ruido de fondo constante. Le doy 4 estrellas porque esperaba que fuera un poco más efectiva contra los ruidos más fuertes y agudos, como los cláxones de los coches. Aún así, la habitación es mucho más tranquila ahora y estoy contenta con la compra.
Cumple todo lo que promete. Oscurece la habitación, quita ruido y la tela tiene mucha calidad. Lo recomiendo.

Vivo en una calle muy transitada y me costaba dormir. Esta cortina realmente atenúa los ruidos molestos (como los coches o las voces) gracias a lo gruesa y pesada que es. Además, es 100% opaca, no entra nada de luz por la mañana, y el tejido color blanco roto tiene un acabado precioso. Ha sido una inversión maravillosa para mi descanso.

Sehr guter Thermo-, Verdunkelungs- und Akustikvorhang in gebrochenem Weiß. Die Qualität überzeugt auf ganzer Linie. Leider gebe ich nur 4 Sterne, da DHL bei der Terminabsprache für die Lieferung einfach katastrophal war. Mit dem Vorhang bin ich dennoch sehr zufrieden.

Simple et efficace, rien à redire.
J'ai craqué pour ce modèle en vert olive et je suis absolument ravie du rendu ! La couleur est sublime, à la fois douce et très élégante, ça apporte une vraie touche cosy à ma déco. Par contre, je retire une étoile pour la livraison. Colissimo ne trouvait soit disant pas mon adresse et le carton était un peu abîmé (heureusement, le rideau était bien protégé à l'intérieur).
Efficace contre le bruit, très beau beige
J'ai pris ce modèle en beige pour le salon et la couleur est nickel, très neutre, ça passe partout. Mais mon critère principal, c'était vraiment l'isolation phonique à cause de la rue juste en bas. Franchement, ça fait le job.
J'ai acheté ce rideau principalement pour réduire le bruit de la rue, et je dois dire que le résultat est assez impressionnant. Dès que le rideau est tiré, les bruits extérieurs sont nettement atténués et étouffés. On gagne tout de suite en calme et en confort dans la pièce ! En plus d'être super efficace contre le bruit, le tissu est épais, de très bonne qualité et le rendu esthétique est vraiment sympa.

Does it block bass, trucks, the neighbours upstairs?
No, and no textile does. Low frequencies and vibrations (subwoofers, engines, impact noise) travel through structures: only the mass of a wall stops them. The curtain works on mid-to-high airborne noise, not on vibrations.
Doesn't sound get in around the sides?
If the installation leaves gaps, yes. To seal the window: extend 15 cm beyond each side, mount the rail as close to the ceiling as possible and let the fabric graze the floor. Sound seeps in like air.
Will my rod hold this curtain?
The curtain is dense (620 g/m²): a panel weighs several kilos depending on size. Go for a sturdy rod or a rail firmly fixed into a load-bearing support. Tension rods won't hold the weight over time.
